A multi million dollar revitalisation program has changed the face of the Cairns CBD and Esplanade precinct, both of which are on the doorstep of the Pacific International Hotel.

The Esplanade had been transformed to feature a 4000sqm resort style saltwater swimming lagoon and sandy beach, Sound Shell and an extensive cultural boardwalk along the foreshore.
