Bushfire Flame Grill Restaurant

The most unique and exciting dining experience in Cairns.

The Thrill of the Grill explodes every night at Bushfire Flame Grill. We guarantee a truly unique dining experience. Situated on the hotel lobby level and overlooking the Cairns Esplanade Parklands, Bushfire has become a “must” for locals and visitors.

‘Fire Starters’ (entrees) are created daily using fresh regional ingredients from the Atherton Tableland district, such as Mungalli Creek cheeses, sugar cane, Gagarra rainforest honeys and tropical fruits and seafoods from South Australia and Tasmania.

‘Fire’ dishes - Churrasco (shoo-rhas’co) are created out of the red hot heat of our special Brazilian inspired flame grill. Meter long skewers of succulent Australian meats are gently roasted on the Churrasco grill and served by waiters directly to your table until you are fully satisfied - this is called - rodizio (= all you can eat). Accompanying dishes such as baked chat potatoes, broccoli mornay, Brazilian inspired salad with carotino vinaigrette and sauces to complement are placed and replenished in the centre of your table.

For a complete sensation and to bring balance to your dining experience, match your food with a magnificent Australian wine from our extensive list.

Desserts: The final temptation at Bushfire Flame Grill is the impressive range of sweet treats from Berliner Doughnuts that can be injected with your favourite filling... to the popular Chocolate Trio and much more.

Open 6:00pm till late 7 days. Please note that Bushfire Flame Grill is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day, and will close at 9:30pm between Dec 27 and Dec 31.

Conveniently located next to the Hotel Foyer and Bushfire Flame Grill, Sugarcane Rhumbar is a great place to watch the world go by, or simply relax in the ambience of the local history theme.

Using native bush ingredients and rare tropical fruits sourced from local farmers and growers, these are muddled, mixed, shaken and stirred to create unique Australian cocktails and juices to quench your thirst.
